The fact that every track that he has had he produced, if it wasn't an original beat he was flowin' over, is too impressive to me...FEELIN IT!
Love by Shore Fire
"Love" feat. Chuck Brown & Jill Scott >> Since I live in the DMV area what better way than to shout out and represent by sharing something from the Godfather of Go Go himself.
"Cry Over you" feat. Yahzarah & Phonte >> SO SO SO SO SO FREAKIN EXCITED for this album to come out too! This is off The Foreign Exchange's 3rd LP, Authenticity...coming October 12th...FEELIN IT!!!
OLD SCHOOL FOR THE MOMENT:
One my favorite underrated groups of the 70's era. The Sylvers are pretty much a Jackson 5 without the Michael. All three of their albums, The Sylver I, II & III, are definitely solid and not so surprisingly there were many other groups out there at the time that were just as good but the Jacksons just stole the spot light....Watch Unsung on TVOne, learn somethin' while your at it haha.
Other music news:
- RocNation, Jayz's label under live nation has legendary potential...my two favorite artist on top right now, J. Cole and Wale, singer I have been following for a couple years Daniel Merriweather, and Will Smith daughter, Willow is also signed under RocNation and does not sound half bad
- Gordon Gartrell Radio is finally back on the scene. My favorite podcast from Phonte and DJ Brainchild
- TVONE'S Unsung is back, showing at 10 p.m. every Monday!...watch and learn your history.

Just had one of those days
You know the feeling you get when you feel like an idiot in not being to get a task done and people have high hopes? I have had many of the occurrences in my field but then you may suspect I suck at what I do or what I do requires a good amount failure before success. In any case...
12-hour work day with no positive results...
But then you remember you are alive and healthy and there's always tomorrow....
In this crazy world, I thank the Lord for that...
